HELL HOUNDS OF THE PLAINS (1926) Legendary stuntman Yakima Canutt stars as a deputy tracking down the outlaw gang who murdered the sheriff.

THE SKY PILOT (1921) John Bowers plays a preacher having a hard time in the Canadian Northwest. Also starring Coleen Moore and directed by King Vidor.

THE NIGHT CLUB (1925) Top Hat comedian Raymond Griffith will inherit a fortune if he goes through with an arranged marriage.

THE WHITE SHEEP (1924) Hal Roach feature stars Glenn Tryon as the timid soul in a family of toughs. Tryon was being groomed as a replacement at Roach for Harold Lloyd who left the Lot Of Fun to start his own production company.

THE EXTRA GIRL (1923) Small town girl Mabel Normand wants to be a movie star but winds up working in the props department. The complete Sennett feature as shown on PBS’ The Silent Years series in the 70s, complete with Orson Welles’ introduction and a film-clip tribute to the “King of Comedy.”

THE VIRGINIAN (1923) Kenneth Harlan and Florence Vidor star in this version of Owen Wister’s classic Western tale.

MARE NOSTRUM (1926) Rex Ingram directs Antonio Moreno and Alice Terry in this sea-faring story of love, war, betrayal and revenge.

LADY AND THE MONSTER (1944) Erich Von Stroheim, Vera Hruba Ralston and Richard Arlen star in the first film version of Donovan's Brain.

SALOON BAR (1940) Early Ealing thriller about the denizens of a bar who discover a clue that will exonerate waitress Elizabeth Allan’s fiancé who is going to be hung for murder on Christmas Day. Led by bookie Gordon Harker, they set out to find the real killer before the execution. Can they make it in time?

ELLERY QUEEN PENTHOUSE MYSTERY (1941) Ralph Bellamy as Ellery Queen rounds up a terrific cast of supporting suspects in this brisk crime tale.

HER PRIMITIVE MAN (1944) Questionable author Robert Paige duels with anthropologist Louise Albritton, supported by Robert Benchley, Edward Everett Horton, Ernest Truex, and Walter Catlett and Helen Broderick.

HIS BUTLER’S SISTER (1943) Deanna Durbin visit her brother, Pat O’Brien, and discovers that his story of being a successful businessman in New York City is a cover for a more servile occupation! Frank Borzage directs.

UNDER-COVER MAN (1932) George Raft’s first starring role as a fence recruited by police to catch the mob responsible for his father’s death. Nancy Carroll and Lew Cody also star.

BOMBAY MAIL (1934) Edmund Lowe works to solve a double murder on a Calcutta bound train.

BATTLE OF BROADWAY (1938) American legionnaires Victor McLaglen and Brian Donlevy attending a convention in New York, are ordered by boss Raymond Walburn to break up the his son's romance with a showgirl. With Lynn Bari and Louise Hovick (aka Gypsy Rose Lee.)

MY GAL SAL (1942) Technicolor musical based on the life of gay nineties song writer Paul Dresser stars Rita Hayworth, Victor Mature, Carole Landis, James Gleason, Phil Silvers and Walter Catlett.

BLONDIE HAS SERVANT TROUBLE (1940) In this entry in the long-running series, Mr. Dithers sells the Bumsteads a haunted house! Arthur Lake and Penny Singleton star.

EARLY TO BED (1936) Charles Ruggles reluctance to reveal his guilty secret (sleepwalking!) has resulted in his 20 year plus courtship of Mary Boland.

MAN IN THE DARK (1953) Edmund O’Brian is a criminal whose evil tendencies – and memory – have been removed via experimental surgery. Unfortunately, his former gang thinks he still knows where $130,000 in loot is hidden.
